BALI IDC Program
Our Instructor Development Course is conducted over 16++ days. We run 11 IDC sessions each year. The Program has a fix curriculum but we offer unparalleled support before and after the conducted program. Bellow you can see the various sections needed to complete the IDC prior to attending the PADI Instructor Exams.
++ There is no time limit to our program. Our 16 days IDC + 2 days EFRI combined with the unlimited free support and free IDC Internship, you can join us for 28 days or more.
PADI Assistant Instructor Course
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the first portion of the PADI instructor Development Course (IDC). You’ll not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional but you’ll also start learning the PADI system of diver education.
The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Course
The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor programme is your final step in your quest to become a PADI instructor. During the IDC, you’ll learn to use and adapt the PADI System of diver education to meet individual student needs. Comprehensive training, supported by a wide variety of PADI educational materials, earns PADI Instructors respect from both students and peers. PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors may conduct a broad range of programmes from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster.

Free Workshops
Throughout your IDC with Crystal Divers in Bali, we will conduct various workshops to help you refine and master your skills. From conducting Confined and Open Water presentations to conducting the various PADI programs in the classroom, these sessions will help you master the PADI educational system.

Free Pre IDC internship
If you would like to refresh your skills and knowledge before the IDC, you can come early and join our free Pre IDC Internship. During your time with us, you can work on your dive theory, confine water skills, assist our Instructors on PADI courses and help guide certified divers. This will give you the opportunity to dive the best sites around Bali and gain valuable experience prior to doing your Instructor Development Course.
Additional Components
Beyond the standard IDC curriculum you will need to complete your EFR Instructor course prior to your Instructor certification. We also offer a wide range of options from Specialty Instructor programs to Master Scuba Diver Trainer Internships.
Emergency First Response Instructor Course
During the 2 days Emergency First Response Instructor course, you will build on your skill as an Emergency Responder and focus on developing your instructional abilities to teach these skills to others. The Instructor course provides you with the additional training necessary to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses. Through a multi-media approach of independent study, classroom sessions and practical teaching assignments, you learn to conduct Emergency First Response courses.
